March 7, 2011

Greetings from GITA

March already and The Season seems to be zipping along.  It’s always a
pleasure to see returning friends from The North.  We’ve been very busy
at the restaurant with regular dining room business as well as hosting
many banquets and private parties. And we thank all of you who’ve been
responsible for letting us help you with your events.

We thank you all for your good wishes and continued support and hope to see you very soon.

GITA DINNER MEETING on Monday, March 14, 2011

Gita Dinners for the past few months have been very well attended and
we’ve had some fun.  We’re looking forward to seeing you at this month’s
dinner on Monday, the 14th of March at 7 PM at Primavera Restaurant.
Primavera is located at 830 E. Oakland Park Boulevard just west of Dixie
and east of KMart. Cost is $20 payable at the door.  There
is currently space available for this dinner. We’re now featuring
“Singles” tables for those who’d like to meet new friends.  Hope to see
you there.

your party. ALL seats are reserved.  You can make a reservation by
simply responding to this email.  When you make a reservation by email I
ALWAYS respond. If you don’t get a response I probably didn’t get your

real estate market also seems to have profited from a brisk seasonal
business.  I’ve seen many more serious buyers in the past few months.
It’s nice to see that a lot of people still want to move here or buy
property here.  It is, after all, still Florida.  And Florida,
hopefully, will continue to have the attraction that got all of us here
in the first place.  We’re here, for whatever part of the year we’re
here, because we want to be here.   And we can pat ourselves on the back
for our smart choice of location.  And yesterday’s latest blizzard in
The Northeast was very satisfying, indeed.  It has been an excellent
winter for Florida Real Estate.

Giacomo has promised to schedule some cooking classes in the near future.  Stay tuned.

Remember that we have a couple of banquet rooms for your private parties.

will be the award winning, breathtaking Bolshoi Ballet performance of
Petit’s PIQUE DAME (The Queen of Spades), with the music of Tchaikovsky,
but not taken from his opera.  Many critics have hailed this as Petit’s
greatest work.  The full facilities of the Bolshoi have been employed
to serve the powerful performances of Nikolay Tsiskaridze (wait until
you see him!) as Hermann and Ilze Liepa as The Countess.  By the way,
this is NOT the same ballet that was done in the 70’s, but a 2005 World

Second, will be the delightful American Ballet Theatre performance of
Ashton’s THE DREAM–a wonderful re-telling of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer
Night’s Dream”–danced to Lanchberry’s arrangement of Mendelssohn’s
music.  This lavish fairy-tale production features Alessandra Ferri as
Titania, Ethan Stiefel as Oberon and Herman Cornejo as Puck.  You’ll be
grinning from ear-to-ear when the curtain descends.

Bring your friends (even those who THINK they don’t like ballet) for an exciting afternoon.
