Greetings from Gita: Gay Italian Americans.  Remember our membership is open to all.  You don’t need to be either gay or Italian to participate.  A fondness for Italian food, wine, art, music or culture is more than enough to qualify.

Hope everyone is doing well.  We are happy to report that we had an enthusiastic response to our previous newsletter suggesting an October Gita Dinner Reunion.

Thanks to those who offered suggestions on a venue for an October Dinner.  We looked at a number of potential sites and after an exhaustive search we eliminated the majority of them for one reason or another.  Some were to small.  Others too expensive.  Some too far away.  Most had no private space.  A few that were otherwise acceptable had horrible food.  And on it went.  You get the picture.

We finally chose The Pride Center.  It has plenty of space and plenty of free parking and we’ll be able to offer a terrific catered Italian menu from Giacomo and the new Cafe Primavera.  The Pride Center has no liquor license so we’ll be offering complimentary alcoholic beverages.  We’ll be opening the doors at 6:30 PM. for this Pre-Columbus Day Extravaganza.

The Menu:

Bread and Butter

Ossobuco Tortellini

Chicken Cordon Bleu w/Turkey Ham
Coffee, Beer, wine, etc.

$30 Inclusive

And once again we’ll be offering some lavishly extravagant gift prizes in our FREE raffle and many other surprises.

If you’d like to attend please let me know by providing the names of those in your party.

It should be a fun evening and we’re looking forward to seeing you all once again on Wednesday October 5 at 6:30 P.M.
